The engagement and approaching marriage of Rachel Coburn and Evan Heintz, both of Madison, Wis., are being announced by the couple’s parents, Scott and Tammy Coburn of Madison, Wis., and Jeff Heintz and Jill Jones-Heintz of Boardman.

Dr. Coburn graduated from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2014 and from The University of Nebraska Medical Center with an M.D. in 2019. She completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022, and is a geriatric fellow.

Dr. Heintz graduated from Otterbein University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in physics / mathematics, and earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022. He works for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held in May 2023 in Madison. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
