Nicole D’Angelo and Derek DeMaiolo were united in marriage Oct. 31, 2021, in the Wedding Pavilion at Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

A reception was held following the ceremony at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Fran and Jim Ciotti of Boardman and Gerald D’Angelo of Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Jerry and Carolyn DeMaiolo of Austintown.

Sharing the duties of matron of honor for the bride were Lindsay Thompson and Nisreen Bada. Gabrielle Ciotti served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Yasmeen El-Nobani, Rachel Pethtel, Heather Margiotta, Sarah Tirrell and Jaimie Beerck.

Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Daniel DeMaiolo. Groomsmen were Jerry D’Angelo,Chris D’Angelo, Kale Allen, Craig Agler, Rob Miller, Keith Dick and Connor Beerck. Christopher D’Angelo served as ring bearer.

The new Mrs. DeMaiolo graduated from Kent State University with a Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies degree. She is brand operations supervisor for Victoria’s Secret PINK in Beachwood.

Mr. DeMaiolo is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Master of Arts degree and a certificate in Serious Game Design and Research. He also graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree. He is remotely employed as senior manager of Game Design / Gamefam in Los Angeles.

Following a honeymoon to Oranjestad, Aruba, the couple resides in Poland.
