Sunny Brick and Eric Wilhelm were united in marriage Dec. 18, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool, with Pastor Stephen Knisely officiating.

A reception followed at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Penny Brick of East Liverpool and the late Mark Brick. Parents of the groom are Dick and Connie Wilhelm of New Philadelphia and Ms. Ina Roberts of North Canton.

Jayna Thorn, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Crable, Sami Downey, Megan McNear, Amy Smith and Erika Tuuri. Junior bridesmaid was Natalia Smith and the flower girl was Juliana Smith, both goddaughters of the bride.

Jennifer Barkley served as best woman for her brother. Groomsmen were Chris Barkley, brother-in-law of the groom; BJ Brown and Evan Brown, brothers of the groom; Brian Huprich and Danny Pydynowski; and Dick Wilhelm, father of the groom. Ring bearer was Alex Barkley, nephew of the groom.

The new Mrs. Wilhelm is a 2002 graduate of East Liverpool High School and a 2006 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in integrated mathematics education and from the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a master’s degree in educational administration. She is a geometry teacher at East Liverpool High School.

Mr. Wilhelm is a 1996 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in atmospheric science. He is employed at WFMJ-TV in Youngstown as chief meteorologist.

Following a honeymoon trip to Sausalito, Calif., the couple resides in Wellsville.
