Melissa Kroll and Philip Besoiu, both of Ridgefield, Conn., were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 21, 2020, at St. Pius X Church, Scarsdale, N.Y.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Kroll of Wausau, Wis. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Besoiu of Liberty.

Mr. Besoiu graduated with his Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern), where he gave the commencement address as class president. He is a finance director in the consumer packaged goods industry in Connecticut.

The new Mrs. Besoiu graduated from the University of Wisconsin. She is employed at the White Plains Hospital, Conn.

Residents of Ridgefield, Conn., the couple will renew their wedding vows in August 2021 and have a cocktail hour and dinner reception at The Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.
