Dan and Pat Rotar of Boardman are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their son, Daniel Michael Rotar to Pooja Premchandran, daughter of Premchandran and Shylaja of India.

Mr. Rotar graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics and from New York University with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. He is involved in website and software development.

The bride-elect received a Bachelor degree in Mass Media from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Arts degree in Global Journalism from the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom) and a Master of Science degree in Social Science from Long Island University (Brooklyn). She is employed as Public Information Assistant at the United Nations Department of Global Communications.

The couple is planning a private family wedding in Jamestown, New York, in October 2020. A reception is planned for 2021 in New York City.
