Krompegel 50th
Marie and Jack Krompegel of Boardman recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with a small celebration hosted by their children, Courtney (Ron) Puhl of Poland and Sean (Crystal) Krompegel of Yorktown, Va. The couple also have five grandchildren.
Mr. Krompegel and the former Marie O’Leary were united in marriage Sept. 5, 1970, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church.
Mrs. Krompegel retired from Verizon after 36 years of service.
Mr. Krompegel was Mahoning County traffic engineer for 38 years, taught at Youngstown State University, and was a local Realtor.
