Robert and Francine Chicone celebrated 50 years of marriage Aug. 8, 2020.

Mr. Chicone and the former Francine Bellitt were married Aug. 8, 1970, at St. Rose Church in Girard.

They are the parents of three daughters, Carlye (Trevor) Westervelt, Michele (Kevin Jr.) O’Leary and Kelli Chicone. They also have three granddaughters.

Robert retired from General Electric after 32 years. He also worked 22 years for the McDonald Police Department and 18 years for Niles Municipal Court.

Francine retired after 30 years from Ohio Bell / AT&T / Lucent Technology.

Together they have enjoyed attending their children’s and grandchildren’s many activities. They have always hosted their regular Sunday family dinners.
