Tom and Rita Somich of Poland celebrated their 50th anniversary at a dinner party hosted by their children, Jennifer (Troy) Stanton, Amy (Jerry) Knowles and Susan (Ken) Sanner, as well as their six grandchildren and great-granddaughter, while vacationing at Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Tom and the former Rita Laskosh were married Nov. 1, 1969, in Jamestown, N.Y.

Rita is the retired owner / operator of a women’s fitness center and Tom is the co-founder and president of New Dominion Insurance in Canton.
