Wendy and Jaison Fisher of Boardman and B. Keith Baklarz of Monroeville, Pa., are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Alexandria Baklarz, to Jaret Spayd, son of Julie and Gary Zublena of Youngstown.

The couple were engaged overlooking Lake Glacier in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.

Ms. Baklarz graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education from the University of Mount Union. She is employed as an elementary teacher for Youngstown City Schools.

Mr. Spayd graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from the University of Mount Union. He is employed as an IT system analyst for Nova Chemicals.

Invitations will be extended for a June 28, 2020, wedding ceremony and reception at Blue Heron Event Center in Medina.
