Marjorie Hartle Rassega and Dr. Jeffrey R. Patterson were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony Sept. 29, 2019, in the gazebo at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. A dinner reception was held after the ceremony at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Ethel Zucco of Mineral Ridge and the late Frank Hartle and the late Tony Zucco (stepfather). Dr. Patterson is the son of Carole Patterson of Austintown and the late Jack Patterson.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her two sons, PJ and Pierce Rassega. Attending her as maid of honor was her daughter, Paige Rassega. Bridesmaids were Jessica Blakeslee, daughter of the groom, and Jacalyn Hanshaw and Jordyn Patterson. Vivien Blakeslee, granddaughter of the groom, served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was John Patterson. Groomsmen were PJ Rassega and Pierce Rassega, sons of the bride, and Justin Patterson, son of the groom. P.J. Rassega III and Roman Rassega, grandsons of the bride, served as ring bearers.

The new Mrs. Patterson graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as controller at Belmont Pines Hospital.

Dr. Patterson received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. He is an optometrist at Dr. Patterson’s Family Eyecare in Austintown.

The couple reside in Mineral Ridge and will enjoy a honeymoon to Ireland in the near future.
