YOUNGSTOWN -- Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St., invites the community to an evening of sacred music and reflection at 7 p.m. Sunday. The event, "Amazing Love: A Hymn Sing with Reflections" will take place in the church's sanctuary.
Pastor Sam Mohn of Trinity United Methodist Church said the special evening will bring together beloved hymns of the Christian faith, the sounds of Trinity's historic pipe organ and meaningful reflections offered by area clergy. Through music and spoken word, participants will explore the enduring message of God's amazing love, grace and faithfulness, Mohn said.
Mohn said for generations, hymns have served as a powerful expression of faith, offering comfort during difficult times, inspiration for life's journey and a shared language of worship that connects generations of believers.
"Music has a wonderful way of reaching places in our hearts that words alone sometimes cannot. Our hope is that this evening will be more than simply a hymn sing. We want it to be an opportunity for our community to come together, lift our voices, reflect on God's amazing love and experience the beauty of our shared faith," Mohn said.
The event is free and free parking will be available.
