• WALK WITH A DOC: 7:45 a.m. Friday. Dr. Yogesh Gujrati, interventional neurologist, will be talking and giving updates on “Strokes: Signs and Symptoms” in the Target hallway. This monthly event combines an informative talk with a walk around the Eastwood Mall with our local physicians. Free giveaways for those that register ahead of time.
• BONE DENSITY SCREENING: 9 a.m. to noon July 14. Come in and get an ultrasound of the heel bone to screen for osteoporosis. No appointment necessary.
MERCY HEALTH MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY VAN VISITS AREA LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT JULY
The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center Mobile Mammography Unit will be traveling around Northeast Ohio throughout the month of July.
The JACBCC was created to deliver the most accurate prevention, early detection, diagnosis and support services in the region, and the Center’s mobile unit provides easier access to quality care to women all over the Mahoning Valley.
The state-of-the-art mobile unit uses the same high-quality technology and equipment to perform the mammogram that can be found in the JACBCC.
It was also the first mobile unit in Eastern Ohio to offer 3D mammography, which allows for a more thorough breast examination.
The mobile unit moves from location to location to provide convenient mammography services and includes patient assisted compression for a more comfortable experience.

Talk with your doctor about when to have a screening mammogram. Screening mammograms are usually a covered benefit with most insurance carriers and do not require a physician order. Financial assistance for mobile screenings is also available.
All mammograms are read by certified radiologists and double-checked with a computer-aided detection system.
Your physician will receive a copy of the results.

MAHONING COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH TO OFFER BINGOCIZE
Mahoning County Public Health is offering Bingocize classes. These classes are a combination of fitness and health education that incorporates the game of bingo. Bingocize is focused on helping sedentary adults ages 55 and older to fit physical activity into their lives in a fun way to help to reduce their risk of falling.
Whether it’s grooving to tunes, involving family and friends or simply enjoying the company of fellow Bingocizers, the program is easily adaptable, making it a welcoming experience for sedentary older adults with various physical abilities.
Bingocize is an evidence-based program that will:
• Improve and maintain mobility and independence
• Use health information for falls reduction
• Engage individuals in a social setting
Classes will meet 11 a.m. to noon Mondays and Wednesdays until mid-August at Sebring Library, 195 W. Ohio St., Sebring.
