WHAT: From eggs to beautiful butterflies, learn about their decreasing population and the importance of milkweed and pollinators. Watch a caterpillar enter the pupa stage and emerge as a monarch butterfly, ready to travel on its amazing migration.

Garden Peace Poles

WHAT: Add art to your landscape using minimal space. The class includes a primed wooden post, paints and shared stencils. Please note, due to drying time, the pole may not be fully completed during class, but you may take supplies home to finish.

Jam and Jelly Canning Class

WHAT: Discover the basics of making and safely preserving homemade jams and jellies during a hands-on canning class. This beginner-friendly workshop will teach participants the fundamentals of water bath canning, including proper equipment, food safety practices, and step-by-step techniques for creating delicious homemade preserves.

Pressure Canner Gauge Testing

WHAT: This service allows home canners to have their pressure canner dial gauges tested for accuracy. USDA recommends annual gauge testing to ensure safe food preservation practices, as inaccurate gauges can result in under- or over-processing of foods.
