Shepherd of All God’s Children Learning Center in Youngstown has been serving the youth of Mahoning and Trumbull counties for the past 33 years.

An anniversary banquet took place March 14 at DiViestes in Warren. The school is located at 610 N. Lakeview Ave., Youngstown.

Kimberly Clinkscale, CEO/founder of the center, said her goal was to start a school and teach her instructors the importance of listening to students to show the students that the instructors care and the importance of understanding that child’s journey.

She said it is important to instill in each student that their education will change their future and equip them to build and pursue their dreams.

Clinkscale said it was her dream to start and administer the learning center.

She said her philosophy for the center is “All Children Matter.”

Clinkscale said Shepherd of All God’s Children is “dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for children of all ages.”

She said the school, preschool and daycare programs offer a well-rounded curriculum that fosters academic excellence, social-emotional development and a love of learning.

“With experienced, caring educators and a focus on Christian values, we strive to help each child reach their full potential,” Clinkscale said.

Tamara Cooper, former board president, was guest speaker at the event.

She said Shepherd of All God’s Children reaches children to help them with their education.

Her career has been in social services, revolving around working with youth.

In the past, the center has received grants, including $10,000 for new bottle-compatible water fountains from the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

Starting at $3.23/week.
