AUSTINTOWN — Pink Out Mahoning Valley 2025 is set to paint the park pink on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, when the annual music festival takes the stage at the Austintown Township Park.

The event will help kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by celebrating survivors and remembering those lost to cancer.

The event will start at noon with a full lineup of music performances throughout the day. Various vendors and food concessions will be on site.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs / blankets and to wear pink.

The Pink Out concert, in its third year, is not a fundraising event, but a gathering of those whose lives have been touched by cancer, and those who simply want to support them. The event is sponsored by Pink Out Mahoning Valley / Pink Out America, a 501(c)3; Tommy’s Express Car Wash, Austintown; Grace Exterminating; Card My Yard; The Truckers 4 Jesus Truck Stop Ministry; Silver Springs: A Fleetwood Mac Experience; Texas Roadhouse, Boardman; and JR’z Pub, Austintown.

This year’s music includes performances by Rachell Joy, One Fine Day, Julie Benner, Mark Mecozzi, Don Tanner, David & Hermie Granati, Dombrowski, The David Ward Project, Solo Sixstring, Dave & Steve, Becky Kimble & Jen Carey Duo, Silver Springs: A Fleetwood Wood Mac Experience, the Fitch Rock Band (Select Members), Sue Lovato, Jenah Shank and Jonathan O’Connor. The Vindys will make a special guest appearance performing a short acoustic set.

The Austintown Youth Football Cheerleaders also will make an appearance.

“Cancer impacts so many of us in so many ways. It’s hard on individuals, families, friends. We just wanted to do something to celebrate survivors and show some support for anyone going through treatment or dealing with a cancer diagnosis,” explained Kroll-Dickinson, a co-founder of the event. “It’s about supporting one another, encouraging each other and having some fun in the process.”

Kroll-Dickinson, a longtime advocate for cancer research, has supported various efforts including The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life events, the local Panerathon Walk / Run and other events.
