CAREGIVER PROGRAM: The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter has a new caregiver relief program called The Jan and Josephine Castora Family Caregiver Relief Program. Agency caregivers are paid to help families caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. For information, visit alz.org/eastohio/carerelief.
SSAG NEEDS VOLUNTEERS: The Senior Support Action Group, a volunteer-based, nonprofit program that provides services to homebound seniors 55 and older in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, is seeking clients and volunteers.
The program provides monthly food box deliveries, phone pals and transportation to medical appointments.
