Hunting Wild Mushrooms in Eastern Ohio

What: This session will cover the ecology and identification of fungi along with the basics of hunting wild mushrooms. We will also cover some common fungi found in eastern Ohio. This is part of the naturalist series.

Air Plant Artistry

What: Garden Art Series — Air plants are usually tiny, easy to grow and they don’t need soil. As the name implies, air plants absorb nutrients and water from the air through scales on their leaves. Learn how to make art with these plants.

Fabric Frenzy

What: A wide variety of colors, patterns and sizes of fabrics, as well as other sewing items and notions, will be available for freewill donations at the fourth annual Fabric Frenzy to benefit the 4-H Youth of Mahoning County.

Holborn Herb Guild Herb and Plant Sale

What: Choose from a large selection of herbs, perennials and annuals, as well as “twice-loved” plants. Guild members have nurtured these assorted plants. A “twice-loved” book sale featuring gardening, herbs and cookbooks also will also be featured. Guild members will be on hand to assist with purchasing, answering questions and sharing information.
