The Plant and Pest Clinic is open 9 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays at the Extension Office. Stop by to ask questions or drop off samples.

Miniature gardens

When: 5 p.m. Sept. 29

What: Join Natalie and Charlene in making a miniature garden. Provided are a mini figure, soil, a plant and the container. Attendees may bring whatever else they wish to add to their gardens.

Dining With diabetes

When: 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays through Oct. 13

What: Learn how to incorporate good, healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control blood sugar through this cooking school and nutrition education program designed for people with diabetes and their family members or caregivers.
