Three days per week, seniors participate in virtual programs of exercise, classes, game time, community awareness, movies and television, healthy cooking, chit-chat and humor, among other things. Once per week, lunch will be delivered while they participate in either game time, television, movies or guest speakers.

GIRARD CENTER: Participation in programs at the Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., is by telephone appointment only. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for participants with appointments Monday through Friday. Coffee bar and mind exercises will be in the gym at 9 a.m., and stretching class is 9:30.

Coffee bar, mind exercises and stretching class will be held in person on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be virtual programming on Thursdays. The computer cafe will be available between 1:15 and 4 p.m. five days a week. One-on-one supportive service appointments will be scheduled by telephone.

Participants are asked not to arrive more than 10 minutes prior to their appointment.

Trees at various businesses will be decorated with ornaments listing seniors' first names and gift suggestions. Donors also can visit BeASantatoaSenior.com and enter their ZIP code to view wish lists for local seniors, through Wednesday. A personalized greeting can be included with the gift.

TRIP PLANNED FOR SENIORS: Jesus The Key Ministries is making arrangements for a trip to Lancaster, Pa., for seniors. Seating is limited to 30 persons and face masks and social distancing will be observed.

The bus will leave Tuesday and return on Wednesday. There will be stops to Elva's Chalk Art Studio, "Elf the Musical" at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, and "Queen Esther" at the Sight & Sound Theatre.
