Here are upcoming gardening events through the Ohio State University Mahoning County Extension Office. For more information and a complete list, contact the Extension Office, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield, at 330-533-5538. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for curbside service for soil samples, plant and insect samples and more.
Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic
When: 10 a.m. to noon Thursdays
What: Join us on Zoom, then go to a breakout room with a Master Gardener to explain your question, show pictures or the actual plant/insect and get an idea of what to do. Those without internet can call 330-533-5538 to explain their question. They will get a call back from a Master Gardener.
