Liberty police assist marshals with warrants

LIBERTY — Liberty police were called to a residence to help the U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force apprehend a Youngstown man with active warrants Wednesday but nabbed another fugitive in the process. According to a police report, a K-9 officer was requested to help the task force at a Warner Road residence, being informed that Matthew Centafanti, 38, was in the building and had active nationwide warrants for a parole violation.
