Amazon set to expand drone delivery of lightweight packages to 500 US cities

Millions more people may be able to get smaller, lightweight Amazon packages delivered by drones by the end of the year under a plan the company announced Wednesday to expand the airborne shipping to suburban areas in nearly 500 U.S. cities. Man gets 5-6 years for shooting into house

Staff report YOUNGSTOWN — A man who was arrested and pleaded guilty to shooting into a home on the city’s West Side was sentenced by visiting Judge William McGinty on Wednesday. Jonathan Spikes, 48, was sentenced to five-to-six years in prison following a guilty plea to one charge of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or a school safety zone, a second-degree felony. YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene this week issued a press release alerting the community of telephone scams, including ploys that drag his office into the fray. The release states: “In one recent instance, a Canfield resident reported having received a call “spoofing” the main number of the Sheriff’s Office.
