Lordstown Village will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lordstown Village Administration Building, in Council Chambers, 1455 Salt Springs Road, SW, Lordstown, Ohio 44481.
The following legislation will be presented for discussion:
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING A
TEMPORARY MORATORIUM, NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (180) DAYS, ON THE GRANTING/ISSUING OF ANY NEW PERMITS, AS WELL AS THE RECEIPT AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS, FOR DATA CENTERS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF LORDSTOWN AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.

The MVSD will receive bid proposals for the Masonry Fa ade Improvements (Contract Number G-161) until one-thirty (1:30) o’clock P.M., Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, via QuestCDN at which time Bids will be electronically opened and posted publicly.

The contractors are invited to attend the Bid Opening in person at the District located at 1181 Ohltown-McDonald Rd., Mineral Ridge, Ohio 44440. (MVSD will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBid online bid service at which time Bids will be electronically opened and posted publicly on QuestCDN immediately thereafter.)
In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work:
Exterior Masonry Fa ade Improvements for Building No’s. 4, 7, 15, 16 and 19. Bidders should refer to the Contract Documents and the Summary of Work Specification 01 11 00 for a more complete synopsis of the work.
A pre-bid conference has been set for 10:00 A.M. local time on April 29, 2026, at the office of the Chief Engineer of the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District (MVSD) located at 1181 Ohltown-McDonald Road, Mineral Ridge, Ohio 44440. This meeting has been set in order to provide all potential Bidders an opportunity to discuss with the Owner all aspects of the Contract Documents for the PROJECT No. 161 MASONRY FA ADE IMPROVEMENTS. Any changes, additions and/or deletions resulting from this pre-bid conference will be covered in an addendum to the Contract Documents.
The MVSD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received. Bidders shall review the Instructions to Bids and all other contract documents prior to submitting a bid for this project.

Pursuant to the rules governing the remediation of releases of petroleum from underground
storage tank (UST) systems, notice to the
public is required whenever there is a confirmed release of petroleum from an UST system that requires a remedial action plan.

A proposed remedial action plan (RAP) dated November 18, 2025, was submitted by the owner of the UST system for the review and approval of the State Fire Marshal (SFM). Once the SFM has reviewed and approved the proposed RAP, the owner and/or operator of the UST system(s) will be required to implement the proposed RAP.
A copy of the proposed RAP, as well as other documentation relating to this release and the UST system involved, is maintained by the Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) and are available for inspection and copying by the public. Requests for copies or for inspection of the proposed remedial action plan (RAP) and other related documentation should be made through the “Public Information Request on UST facilities” link located on BUSTR’s Resource Page at: https://sfmprodportal.3diengage.com or by calling our office at (614) 752-7938. INVITATION TO BID – USED SCHOOL BUSES
The Howland Local School District is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of two (2) used school buses meeting the following minimum specifications: model years 2021 through 2024; 61-70 passenger capacity; air brakes; Cummins engine. All buses must meet
applicable Ohio school bus safety standards.
Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at 1:05 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Howland Local Schools Administration Building.
