Libraries provide so much for communities

DEAR EDITOR: In our recent world of chaos, I am compelled to write this plea to save the life of our libraries across the state of Ohio. It has come to my attention that the Ohio House Legislature intends to reduce major funding to the valued, rich and intellectual growth of our communities — our libraries. By cutting these funds, this budget will threaten the library’s great services such as access to technology centers, tax help, tutorials, hubs for economic progress, job search opportunities, educational programs for children, teens and adults, and especially senior citizens. ...

DEAR EDITOR: Attending the Youngstown Town Hall Meeting last evening was absolutely awesome! It’s a shame that Michael Rulli was unable to attend our “pathetic spectacle” as he so eloquently put it.
