Mike DeWine said today he will appoint Andy Wilson, director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, as the state’s next attorney general, to replace Dave Yost, who is resigning, effective June 7. Murphy II, 41, of Leffingwell Road in Canfield, was indicted last week on charges of felonious assault and misdemeanor domestic violence in a Jan. 3 altercation in which Murphy is accused of throwing a woman against a wall, repeatedly banging her head off of the floor and trying to throw her down the stairs.
