Boardman contractor arrested again

BOARDMAN — A local contractor already convicted of stealing from customers in three counties has been arrested again. A Boardman police report shows that John P. Bartos III, 43, of Boardman, was arrested Friday at a Boardman hotel on four outstanding warrants, including one for an alleged probation violation in Mahoning County. Bartos received four years of probation in Mahoning County after pleading guilty to 18 felony counts involving 25 customers. YOUNGSTOWN — Four people were arrested early Sunday after a melee that took all of Youngstown available police resources to quell. A Youngstown police report states that a series of fights outside downtown bars drew more than 15 officers from their department and Youngstown State University and took more than an hour to bring under control. AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot and wounded a man Sunday afternoon in Austin, Texas, local authorities said, and anti-ICE protesters quickly gathered at the scene.
