YOUNGSTOWN — A Youngstown State University Police Department report states that when a YSU police officer in his cruiser near the YSU football stadium heard a possible gunshot coming from the stadium at 9:21 p.m. Saturday, he activated his lights and siren and drove to the south end of the stadium. “Officers working the Mooney vs. Chardon High School football game at Stambaugh Stadium advised that a shot was fired near the south ramp of the west stands,” the report states.
