The Curbstone Coaches will honor the state champion Warren JFK baseball team and several local track and field state champions at Monday’s luncheon meeting of The Curbstone Coaches at the Avion Banquet Center on Western Reserve Road in Beaver Township.

The event begins at noon and the public is welcome to attend.

This will conclude the current luncheon season. The luncheons with a sports related speaker will resume again on Monday, Sept. 13 when Youngstown State University director of athletics Ron Stroll will serve as guest speaker.

Also, plans are under way for the 53rd annual Curbstone Coaches Hall of Fame Induction ceremony sponsored by Briarfield Health Care Center that will take place May 1, 2022 where the class of 2020 will finally get inducted.

The induction ceremony will take place at Mr. Anthonys where the keynote speaker will be former Ohio State and NFL quarterback Mike Tomczak.
