MASSILLON JACKSON 3, BOARDMAN 0

MASSILLON — Despite a strong effort, the Spartans season ended in a district semifinal on Tuesday, dropping a 3-0 contest to Massillon Jackson.

Reagan Burkey guided the team, finishing with 24 assists and Maria Torres led the offense with 10 kills. Kathryn O’Horo donned the libero jersey Tuesday and added 10 digs. Boardman ends its season at 16-9.

RIVERSIDE 3, CANFIELD 2

CANFIELD — Canfield saw its season come to an end in a 3-2 loss to Painesville Riverside in a Division I district semifinal tilt. The Cardinals took a two set lead, but the Beavers rallied back with three straight set wins to take the match.

POLAND 3, HAWKEN 0

POLAND — Noah Huda tallied two goals for the Bulldogs in a Division II district semifinal. Goalkeeper Nate Hayes recorded 10 saves for Poland and Justice Gonzalez scored the third goal.

Poland moves to 16-0-2 on the season and faces Chagrin Falls in the district final.
