Ohio State women’s basketball wins big vs. Bellarmine

The Ohio State women’s basketball team dominated Bellarmine on Thursday in Columbus, winning 90-33 to begin the season 2-0.

The Buckeyes shut out the Knights in the opening quarter of Thursday’s game, taking a 26-0 lead into the second period, where Ohio State extended its lead to 36 points by halftime.

Jaloni Cambridge led all scorers with 18 points, and Dasha Biriuk, Chance Gray and Ava Watson also scored in double-digits for the Buckeyes. Ella Hobbs became the only player in the game to grab 10 rebounds; she added 7 points as well.

With the win, OSU has outscored its opponents 178-92 to start the 2025-26 campaign.

Next up for the Buckeyes is defending champion and No. 1 UConn, which has similarly rolled early on this season. Ohio State will travel to Connecticut this weekend for a 12 p.m. ET game in Hartford on Sunday.
