YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State women’s basketball team’s Horizon League schedule was announced by the conference Wednesday.

The Penguins will begin their league slate with a road trip to Northern Kentucky on Dec. 2 and Wright State on Dec. 4.

That’s followed by home games against Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 29 and 31, respectively. Of note, the YSU men host CSU and PFW on those same days.

The Penguins head to Detroit Mercy on Jan. 5 and Oakland on Jan. 7, and then host Robert Morris on Jan. 12 and IUPUI Jan. 16. That’s followed by a road trip to Green Bay and Milwaukee on Jan. 20 and 22, respectively.

YSU hosts Wright State on Jan. 26 and NKU on Jan. 28, and then travels to Purdue Fort Wayne on FEb. 2 and Cleveland State on Feb. 4.

Youngstown State then plays its next four at home: Oakland (Feb. 9), Detroit Mercy (Feb. 11), Milwaukee (Feb. 17) and Green Bay (Feb. 19).

The conference slate concludes with road trips to IUPUI (Feb. 21) and Robert Morris (Feb. 25).
