EAR EDITOR:

I just saw that some nut drove his car into the barricade outside the Capitol in Washington, D.C. I wonder if he’s one of former President Donald Trump’s supporters who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6.

I also watched the barriers being removed, along with razor barbed wire. Kind of a dumb move, I think. There are a lot of white supremacists and terrorists who can’t get over Donald Trump’s defeat.

The anti-American terrorists and traitors arrested in the Capitol attack and death of Officer Sicknick and four others, plus doing untold damage to the Capitol Building for their idol Donald Trump, should be convicted and given the stiffest sentences possible.

If our government leaders think they’ve heard the last of these nuts, then they need a reality check.

Put the barriers and barbed wire back up.
