Address high ratio of patients to aides
DEAR EDITOR:
With the current emphasis on nursing homes and long-term care facilities, I have posed a question to our state representatives and senators. Not one has answered!
Why hasn’t the state looked into the ratio of patients to aides? A friend recently was a patient and saw at times a ratio of 20:1.
How can these patients possibly receive proper care with numbers like these?
I hope one of our elected officials will address this problem.
