Madison F. Clinkscale 1963-2025

TACOMA, Wash. — Madison F. Clinkscale, 61, formerly of Youngstown, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025.
Born Nov. 26, 1963, Madison grew up in Youngstown. He was a 1982 graduate of The Rayen School. He was a lover of learning, always taking classes and going to workshops to increase his knowledge.
His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite sport was boxing. He fought in the Golden Gloves for the Gene Minor Boxing Club. As an adult he continued to train recreationally under Olympic Gold Medalist Sugar Ray Scales of Tacoma.
He was employed at The Port of Tacoma and Puget Sound Energy.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Jasmine Bailey, and granddaughter, Emiko Bailey. He leaves his mother and three sisters, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, and other family and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.
Madison was preceded in death by his father, Madison Clinkscale Jr.; stepfather, Daniel Eskew Sr.; maternal grandparents, James and Mable Payden; and paternal grandparents, Madison Sr. and Mattie Clinkscale.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2025, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 646 Lakewood Ave., Youngstown, OH 44502. A service will follow at 10:30 a.m.
