Nicholas C. Carson 1978-2024
SALEM — Nicholas C. Carson, 46, formerly of Lowellville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.
Born Sept. 18, 1978, in Youngstown, a son of Roseann Tomasino and Larry Carson.
His spirit was nurtured in the small community of Lowellville where he graduated from high school in 1998, embarking on a life filled with labor, laughter and love.
In his professional life, Nick dedicated many years driving a truck and had last worked for Schwebel’s Co. A man of many passions, Nick found joy in fishing, perfecting his swing on the golf course or shooting hoops on the basketball court. The outdoors called to him like a faithful friend; he embraced every adventure that came his way, whether riding motorcycles or spending time on the water with boats. His steadfast loyalty was not limited to his hobbies, as he was a fervent Cleveland Browns fan, displaying unwavering enthusiasm for his team through thick and thin.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Bender Carson, whom he married May 14, 2016; his mother, Roseann, of Villa Marie, Pa.; his stepchildren, Lindsay Self and Landen (Emely) Self, both of Salem; his granddaughter, Miylah Rose; brothers, Anthony (Heather) Carson of Columbus and Jeffrey (Suzanne) Carson, of Winthrop, Massachusetts; his sister, Lisa (James) DeLuca of Toms River, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bella.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Larry Carson.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. and be followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard.
In our hearts, Nick will remain — an enduring legacy of love and adventure, forever remembered.
