James F. Henry 1941-2024
AUSTINVILLE, Va. — James Francis Henry, 82, departed this life Monday, May 20, 2024, at his home. Born in Youngstown, Oct. 21, 1941, he was a son of the late Francis and Lucille Guillerey Henry. He was a 1960 Canfield High School graduate.
For many years, James worked as a sales representative for Hartz Mountain.
The loves of his life were the family he built with his beloved wife, Mary Ann Morrison Henry, the greatest of those being the cherished times with his grandchildren. A hardworking man, James also enjoyed the time he would spend toiling on his farm and the memories that would create for all. James also enjoyed the carefree breezes and relaxation only sailing could bring. In addition, he would enjoy the freedom, the sounds and the joys that watching a NASCAR race on a Sunday or any day could bring.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Morrison Henry; sons, Gregory Clutter and Richard Clutter; sister, Nadine Norton; and sister-in-law, Jocelyn Henry.
Left to cherish his memory in their hearts are his daughters, Ruth Ann Brown, Suzanne Doherty and Cynthia (Alan) Kidd; son, Douglas (Jenny) Clutter; the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special great-grandchild; a brother, John Henry; sister, Nancy Haraburda; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time.
