Richard W. Fricker 1960-2024

Richard was born March 8, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Paul W. and Julia A. Fecych Fricker.

He was a 1978 graduate of Hubbard High School. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Cleveland Sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Richard was a union plumber for many years and a member of Pipefitters Union.

He attended St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Lions Club of Hubbard. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family; his sisters, Lynne (Jeff) Stiver of Hubbard and Christine (Michael) Julian of Dublin, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, whom he deeply loved.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel P. Fricker.

A private graveside service will be held.

Richard will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hermitage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church Food Pantry, 225 North Main St., Hubbard, OH 44425.
