Eunice J. Cera 1928-2022

She was born July 9, 1928, in Niles, the daughter of Felice and Ida Petrilli Mannella.

She was a 1946 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of St. Rose Church in Girard. She retired in 1988 after working 22 years as a secretary for the Niles City School System. She was an avid baker and enjoyed knitting. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving family.

Eunice is survived by daughter, Cynthia L. (Charles) Lininger of Gustavus; two sons, Robin T. (Roselyn) Cera of Girard and Dr. Kevin R. (Nancy) Cera of Brookville; five grandchildren, Kelli (James) Keagy of Girard, Dr. Brandon (Kaileigh) Cera of Santa Fe, N.M., Taylor Cera of Vienna, Dr. Carlin (Aric) Cera-Musselman of Brookville and Sidney (Connor) Domsitz of Pickerington; seven great-grandchildren, Chloe Keagy, Luke Cera, Henry Cera, Thomas Domistz, Claire Domsitz, Hudson Musselman and Harrison Musselman; and brother, Gene G. Mannella of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Robert Cera, whom she married July 4, 1950, and who died Jan. 27, 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at St. Rose Church, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the Mass at church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Church, 48 Main Street, Girard, OH 44420.
