Francisco L. Jorge Jr. 1960-2022

Born March 9, 1960, in Youngstown, Frankie spent his entire life in the Valley with his brothers and sisters.

Rooting for the Miami Dolphins and Ohio State Buckeyes, football season was Frankie’s passion.

He was deeply loved by his family and friends, who remember him as a kind soul to helping others and making their days with a conversation. Frankie had a heart of gold and a soft spot for making children smile, and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with all his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by sisters Dr. Rosemary Quinones and Gracie Toth (Jack); brothers, Edward Jorge, David Jorge (Gwen), Nelson Jorge and Michael Jorge; and his abundant nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by Francisco Jorge Sr., his father; Julia Del-Valle, mother; Richard Quinones, a brother; Gail Blackshear, sister; and Kelly Jorge, sister.

A celebration of Frankie’s life will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at the Le Chateau (Central Park Apartments), 4550 Nantucket Drive, Austintown.

In lieu of flowers, the Jorge family asks that monetary donations be made at the service or to the funeral home to help cover the costs of the arrangements.
