Louis J. Montero 1945-2021

He was born Nov. 10, 1945, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, son of Juan Montero and Aurea Colon. A graduate of East High School, he served in the Army, later working in the steel mills and went on to work for General Motors, from where he retired. He enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

Louis is survived by his four children, Raymond, Brian, Michelle and John; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and three sisters Maria, Aurea and Ardez.

Besides his parents and sister Norma, the best part of him has already left this world — his loving wife, Anna.

At this time, due to COVID-19, the family asks that services not be held; a later time will be set for family. Any floral arrangements can be sent to Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. Boardman, OH 44512, and any donations as well.

In this time of mourning the family is grateful and appreciative of everyone that made Louis’ life worth living.
