Judith L. Huckle 1945-2020

LENEXA, Kan. — Judith L. Huckle, 75, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, from complications of pneumonia and a lengthy cancer battle. She joined her daughter, Jaclyn, who passed away in July 2019, in heaven.

Judy was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Youngstown, the first born child of Karl E. Schonhut and Betty Burns Schonhut. Judy was a graduate of Struthers High School, class of 1963. Her first job was at South Side Hospital, where she was a secretary in the X-ray department. She held many positions over the years, most recently she was employed at FLI Incorporated and was most grateful for the years of support she received from them.

Judy married her high school sweetheart, John R. Huckle, in 1967. Over the years, they resided in Ohio, Michigan and Kansas.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jack; her daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Rob King; her grandsons, Dillon (Sammi) King and Trevor King; and great-grandchildren, Camden, Bowen, Karlee and Meilani King, all of Kansas. She also leaves her sister, Jo Ellen (Chad) Rudzik of Struthers; her brother, Jerry Schonhut of Youngstown; her American Field Service brother, Marco (Debbie) Chacon of Annapolis, Md.; her brothers-in law, Tom (Maryellen) Huckle of Boardman and Ray (Cheryl) Huckle of Lakeland, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather to remember her.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Battle Boutique Cancer Warriors, 1716 W. 95th St., Overland Park, KS 66214.
