Mary C. Kuester 1925-2020

Mary was born May 24, 1925, in Girard, the daughter of Thaddeus M. and Catherine Mularkey Dillon II.

Mary was a graduate of Youngstown State University and had retired from Cardinal Mooney High School as a math teacher, having taught for over 20 years.

She was a devoted and active member of St. Rose Church.

Mary was an avid golfer and had belonged to the Hubbard Ladies League for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Thomas M. (Suzanne) Kuester of Sharon, Pa. and Jack J. (Kathy) Kuester of Seattle, Wash.; her grandchildren, Andrew E. (Megan) Kuester of Washington D.C., Emilie A. Kuester of Seattle, Wash., Michael T. Kuester of Cincinnati and Christine Kuester of Celebration, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews that Mary thought fondly of.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. Kuester, who died Oct. 16, 1987; her sister, Irene Prezioso; and her brother, Thaddeus M. Dillon III.

Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery, where Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband.

The family suggests any memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Mooney High School, 2545 Erie St., Youngstown, OH 44507, or St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, OH 44420, in memory of Mary.
