Rosemary C. Kluth 1942-2019

WHEELING, W.Va. — Rosemary Carano Kluth, 76, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Valley Hospice Liza’s Place Care Center South.

Rosie was born Dec. 4, 1942, in Campbell, to Anthony and Carmel Rich Carano.

She was a 1960 graduate of Ursuline High School, a 1964 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a 1965 graduate of DT Watson School of Physical Therapy.

She was a strong and devoted Catholic and a member of St. Michael Parish, where she was a past president of Christian Mothers / Christian Women.

She practiced physical therapy at various facilities from 1989 until her retirement from Peterson in 2003.

She was devoted to her family in every way as a young child to her siblings, all her cousins, nieces and nephews. She had unending involvement with her children’s activities as they grew. Her grandchildren brought her great joy for 17 years.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ned; her sister, Donna (Gordon) Hartranft; children, Lisa (Justin) Eggleston and Eric (Carmen) Kluth; grandchildren, Brennan, Brady, Ashley and Avery Eggleston, and Arielle and Amorette Kluth; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gladys Kozar; and her brother, Joseph Carano.

Visitation was held at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003, 304-232-2732. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St Michael Catholic Church in Wheeling. Interment was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Lowellville, Ohio, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center, Liza’s Place, or to St. Michael Catholic Church.
