Vera L. McCulloch 1952-2019

Vera was born April 7, 1952, in Stoneboro, Pa., the daughter of Frank and Bessie Perrine Hoover.

She was a graduate of Stoneboro High School, worked as a bus driver for 10 years at Youngstown City Schools and worked for Daybreak.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Vera was a strong-willed person who loved her family and friends very much. She was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, bocce and playing cards.

Vera will always be remembered lovingly by her son, Charles McCulloch Jr.; three sisters, Joann (Sam) Brent, Millie (Chris) Contestabe and Erla Lewis; brother, Fred (Mary) Hoover; and sister-in-law, Audrey Hoover.

Her husband, Charles McCulloch Sr., whom she married Sept. 30, 1991, passed away in 2008.

Private services were held.
