Florence L. Griffiths 1929-2019
GIRARD — Florence L. Griffiths, 90, of Girard, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, at Heritage Manor in Youngstown.
Florence was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Kentucky.
Florence had worked for Ohio Leather Works and then for Packard Electric, where she retired. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and had enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping and traveling.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ralph A. Griffiths of Girard; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph K. Griffiths, whom she married June 4, 1949, and who died June 25, 2019; and her son, Frank Griffiths.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Florence will be laid to rest in Kerr Cemetery next to her husband.
The family requests any material contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
