Doris J. Pitts 1943-2019
YOUNGSTOWN — Doris J. Pitts, 76, of Youngstown, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 6, 2019, at Austintown Healthcare Center.
She was born July 29, 1943, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Steven and Mary Martin Kavesky. She came to this area as a child. She was a graduate of Chaney High School.
She worked for Courtney Harvey Ford and R.M. Window Company in sales, retiring in 2002. She was of the Catholic faith. She loved to cook and enjoyed the Christmas holiday season.
Doris is survived by a son, Joseph G. Pitts of Ocala, Fla.; several cousins, including Skye Andres; and one aunt, Wilma Tibbetts of Youngstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Following Doris’ wishes, there will be no calling hours.
Private services were held.
Funeral arrangements have been conducted by Szabo and Sons Funeral Home.
