HUBBARD — Ohio Edison (FirstEnergy) will conduct a planned outage to upgrade outdated equipment on the east end of Hubbard Township from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Township Trustee Chairman Rick Hernandez said the outage will affect a large portion of customers residing on the east end of the townshipfor abour six hours.

Hernandez said that FirstEnergy had not notified customers by mail of the outage so officials wanted to inform residents.

Streets to be affected are sections of Pothour Wheeler Road, East Liberty Street, Schotten Road, John White Road, Creed Avenue, Bedford Road, Countyline Road, North Hubbard Road, Hubbard Bedford Road, Stateline Road, Pound Road, South Fox North Road, Oak Tree Vista, Triangle Drive and Price Shaffer Road.
