Police activity reported Jan. 20-26:

Jan. 26, 1:40 p.m. — Matthew K. Koziorynsky, 27, 454 Spring St., Struthers, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments and on an undisclosed Columbiana County warrant, and Alexis N. Koziorynsky, 30, 2193 Cricket Lane, Columbiana, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and on an undisclosed Columbiana County warrant, following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue for a vehicle with a shattered windshield.

Jan. 25, 11:28 a.m. — Theft of an undisclosed amount of money reported at 461 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Jan. 24, 11 a.m. — Theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle reported at 4481 Deer Creek Court.

8:50 a.m. — Stolen credit cards were used at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

8:48 a.m. — A counterfeit $100 bill reported at 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 23, 9:22 a.m. — Brandon D. Foster, 28, 3113 Meadows Edge Lane, Juliette, Ill., was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property following a dispatch to BP, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road, regarding a stolen vehicle out of Illinois.

Jan. 21, 9:18 p.m. — Richard J. Schneider, 50, 43 Lake Wobegon Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business, and was cited for failure to reinstate and for a marked lanes violation, following a traffic stop on state Route 46.

Jan. 20, 2:15 p.m. – Rachael N. Slepski, 28, 3808 New Road, Austintown, was arrested on a charge of theft and on an undisclosed Liberty warrant, following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Police activity reported Jan. 13-18:

Jan. 18, 11:12 p.m. — Qwon D. Dow, 26, 1540 Midland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on two counts of domestic violence and four counts of endangering children following a call to 110 Dehoff Drive regarding a domestic situation involving a gun.

7:53 p.m. — Juan Contreras, 24, 252 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, was arrested by Weathersfield police on five Austintown warrants (two counts of menacing by stalking, two counts of telecommunications harassment, and one count of soliciting sex).

2:36 p.m. — Theft of $153.28 in cash reported by an employee at Days Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

1:29 p.m. — Theft of a $50,010 rolling cash lottery check reported at 3894 Artmar Drive.

10:33 a.m. — Theft reported at 4477 Mahoning Ave. The suspect was said to be driving a green Chevrolet Caprice.

Jan. 16, 12:32 p.m. — Theft of a wood chipper reported at 6395 Fairview Road.

Jan. 15, 5:25 p.m. — Theft of an Ohio registration sticker from a vehicle reported at 609 N. Four Mile Run Road.

Jan. 14, 4:44 p.m. — $1,685 in cash reported missing from the safe and register at Ice Breakers, 5560 W. Webb Road.

3:57 p.m. — Bonnie L. Sparks, 72, 743 Oregon Ave., McDonald, was issued a summons for criminal trespassing following a call to Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. regarding a shoplifting incident involving three juveniles.

11:16 a.m. — Noah A. Collins, 23, 740 Rex Blvd., Warren, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call in the area of 6073 Mahoning Ave.

9:57 a.m. — Theft of an Ohio registration sticker from a vehicle reported at 4150 Pembrook Road.

Jan. 13, 11:50 a.m. — Theft of a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck reported at 3645 Mahoning Ave.

11:08 a.m. — Theft of a catalytic converter reported at the Mahoning County Building Department, 50 Westchester Drive.

9:44 a.m. — Theft of nine catalytic converters reported at the Mahoning County Health Department, 50 Westchester Drive.
