Boardman woman injured in crash
YOUNGSTOWN — A Boardman woman was taken to a hospital with injuries Sunday after a two-car crash on a snowy road.
A Chevrolet Equinox driven by Christopher McCoy Jr., 20, of Cook Avenue, traveling south on Shirley Road struck the rear of a Honda Odyssey driven by Sandra Wright, 63, of Glenwood Avenue, Boardman.
The Odyssey was stopped on the side of the road with engine trouble, according to a Youngstown police report. The accident occurred about 2:40 p.m. as snow was falling.
McCoy was cited in the accident and Wright was taken to a hospital for treatment, the report states.
