Campbell starts summer food program

CAMPBELL — The Campbell City School District Summer Feeding Program is up and running.

It will run through July 2; and July 12 through Aug. 3 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center located on state Route 616.

All children under the age of 18 eat free. A lunch will be provided as well as a grab bag to go with breakfast for the next morning. Board games are available to play while having lunch.

After lunch, visit the on-site branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County.

Also, students who are members of the Wellness Center are able to use the facilities during that time.

The summer meals program ensures that children have the opportunity to continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.
